Welcome to the New Iranian Revolution’s Blog

Hey All,

My name is Azi (Azadeh), and im currently living in Los Angeles with a bunch of other Iranian refugees– if you ask me, we are here for now… not forever.  We WILL go back to Iran, and so we have to fight hard to end this mockery of a society which is being forced there.  Islam is occupying Iran right now, and that needs to end.  My name, Azadeh, is Farsi for “Freedom.”  I will fight for the Freedom of Iran from Islamic Occupation, regression, and oppression however I can.

Although it might seem like the religious and political problems in Iran aren’t related, they actually are.  Because there is no seperation of church and state, Iranians are forced to live under Shari’a Law– Islamic law.  And the Iranian interpretation of Islamic Law is very very strict.  Music is outlawed, your haircut is regulated by the state, ties are frowned upon, and men and women can get arrested for being seen in public together, if they are not related or married.  It is quite ridiculous!!

The Persian Empire, which is presently Iran, WAS NEVER radical or Islamic until the Arab Invasion.  It is time to restore our cultural integrity, and bring about much needed democracy.

Persia changed its name to Iran in 1935.

Iran and Persia are the same thing.
